National Olympic Committee of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) originated from the Olympic Committee which is recognized by the International Olympic Committee, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on 19 June 1961.
From 1975 to 1992, The NOC of Cambodia was not recognized by the International Olympic Committee due to the country was involved in a civil war.
National Olympic Committee of Cambodia was then re-established and recognized by the International Olympic Committee on 15 June 1994 to become the 196th member of the IOC. The International Olympic Committee currently has a membership of 204 countries.
Commission: National Olympic Committee of Cambodia is a member of the Olympic Council of Asia Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), which is made up of 45 countries in Asia.
National Olympic Committee of Cambodia is a founding member along with 6 other countries of the Southeast Asian Games Federation Federation (SEAGF), which was inaugurated in 1959 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Founding members, includes Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia and Thailand.
